KEY FACTS

This Porsche 911 SC is a rewarding classic air-cooled sports car, which has been transformed into an attention-grabbing tribute to the legendary Carrera RSR Martini Racing works cars.

Under the rear engine lid now sits a 3.0-litre air-cooled flat-six, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a five-speed ‘Type 915’ manual transmission and a ZF limited-slip differential.

This tribute is eligible for historic racing use and reportedly has 30 hours of run time under its belt since the last service was completed in December 2023.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

This RSR tribute bears a replica of the Martini livery worn by the 1973 Martini Racing works cars, featuring red front and rear bumpers, and decals from Shell and Bosch.

Now reportedly weighing just 960kg, it has an RSR-style bodykit, with flared wheel arches and an eye-catching rear spoiler.

It rides on 17-inch BBS two-piece alloy wheels, finished in black with polished lips, and wrapped in Toyo Proxes R888 tyres.

The cabin features a multi-point chassis-welded roll cage, a Tillett bucket seat with a Sabelt harness, an array of rocker switches for the car’s auxiliary functions, Tilton adjustable brake bias.

Mechanical changes include an FIA-FT3 compliant Fuel Safe racing fuel cell (validity expired in February 2025), PMO carburettors, JE high-compression pistons, a dual ignition, an RSR spaghetti-type exhaust, an RSR-type ... radiator and oil sump, a reinforced gearbox with RSR-type gears, and larger-diameter four-piston brake callipers.

The vehicle will be supplied with an original Porsche 911 SC certificate of authenticity, its Fuel Safe certificate of conformance, an export declaration, and a collection of invoices.

SERVICE HISTORY

The car’s last service was completed in December 2023 by August Porsche Addiction.

The seller notes that the engine has recently been overhauled at a cost of over €20,000.
